That Writers' and Artists' page I mentioned before published the new posts around lunch time in my time zone. So I was looking forward to those all day. You can read them here.
Haven't done all that much writing today. I was feeling bad about it so around 10:00pm I sat myself down to hash it out. I did just over the daily 1,667 for today. Didn't add as much action as I thought I would, but maybe not being as into it in the moment has not helped. If nothing else, I did get Hatfield beyond the looking glass. What I'll have to decide tomorrow is who his main tour guide will be. So far a delightful White Rabbit named Daffod is lined up, but I'll have to see how eager His Majesty is about taking the Detective on. Someone will have to break the news to the poor man that he's now a captive. He won't like that. Hopefully he doesn't get too sulky. Rage I can work with, sulk is like a black hole that takes "giving her all she's got, Captain" to break out of. If he tries, maybe I can get Chess to slap it out of him. But she's in a lot of trouble, too, so I don't know exactly what will be in store for her while Detective Hatfield gets settled in.
Here's looking forward to another 1,667 for tomorrow!
