It must officially take me 9 days to recover from a NaNo event because I feel ready to write again! My brain, of course, does not think logically. I still have 150 pages of Gormenghast to read for bookclub, Matt's brand new novel to Beta, a wedding, a honeymoon, a new career, Knightsbridge, Parish, and somewhere in all of this I want to write a new novel... all before next NaNo (November). This is what happens when I'm out of school and unemployed, isn't it?
What? Oh? Matt wrote a novel? Yes, he did! Can't tell you anything about it, not because it's top secret, it's just I haven't read beyond the first chapter when he was first writing it several years ago. I've been promised that it's changed since then so I can't even give you a much detail as to what it actually is. All I know is that it involves cops, murders, a mid-life crisis, copious amounts of sex, and something about a garden gnome. If I discover that the sex includes the garden gnome, I may delete this post and pretend that I know nothing about it.
...and now part of me is wondering how to incorporate a garden gnome Magnus Flyte style*...
