So what's happened in the world of Wonderland? Well, my Detective went a little mad, which is rather fitting. He's still going to end up unconscious, and somehow doing something even crazier than the first time around is actually going to get him to where he needs to go. So it wasn't Hatfield's fault, it was mine for giving him the wrong players. Took away the one that was dragging him down and put in someone who actually had some power in this game. It has delayed Hatfield's actual trip into the world below, but at least when he gets there I'm hoping that it'll make more sense - or at least as much sense as anything based in Wonderland will allow.
In other news, it looks like I'm going to have to find a way to summarize this whole past week of writing. I'm sure I'll think of something. Clearly I've had a few experiences already. If you're interested, you can read the other blogs on the Writers&Artists website: https://www.writersandartists.co.uk/blog . I'm excited just to read about where the other participants are at. What can I say? NaNoWriMo makes me competitive.
Oh, and that writing race between me and my future-dwelling friend? Well, remember that day that I wrote next to nothing? She wrote somewhere between 4000 and 5000 words! I wonder if it's a coincidence or not that the day I wrote next to nothing was the moment that I had passed her posted count? See? Competitive!
Happy Writing, Everyone!
